You just never know it might be the catalyst for a good run with Haller and co coming back and an Ivorian taking over as coach.

Many teams should look at Cisse and the job he has done as an Indigenous coach.

You never know. Denmark won Euro 92 they had no business participating in if not for the disqualification of Yugoslavia. Now they will be playing with house money with zero pressure and nothing to lose.

CIV no get shame, for sure. They tried to get Herve Renard to coach them for the remainder of the tournament but were turned down by the French football federation.

As for the game, it is going to be a really hard game for Senegal. But they are the African champs and these are the kind of games they will expect. I am sure they know what they are dealing with.

On paper, the midfield of Sangare, Kessie and Fofana is better than Pap Sarr, Camara and Pape Gueye but that's just theoretical. It will come down to which midfield is more mobile and can run more

CIV midfield is better

But Senegals is younger. Also much less experienced. I wonder if Cisse adds any of the veterans on the bench.
