It is big news, but please do not exaggerate. Ferguson was at Manchester United for 27 years and Wenger was at Arsenal for 22 years. Klopp has been at Liverpool for 8.5 years during which time he won a grand total of ONE Premier League title. Ferguson won 13 Premier League titles. When Ferguson took over at Manchester United, Klopp was a 19yo boy.

Not sure you get the analogy here. Its not how long or how many titles won. Its the overall impact- the true depth of the impact that is being measured...

It's not even about all the trophies he's won. The impact he's had on LFC and the community transcends sport.
E sey trophies

So he is retiring? Not that he wants to go elsewhere?
Dude won only one EPL title - a pandemic title. He knows he cannot compete and thats why he has been b1tching and b1tching for years. He has looked at the landscape and knows that aside from City, the likes of Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Tottenham are going to be competitive. And then you add Aston Villa. He knows he cant compete and he sees Bayern about to be open in the summer. He will go to Bayern and have an easy ride there.
Now, its time for City to do what is needed and assume their position.

The trophies don't have to be many nor the years spent but how he impacted on the club.
You would have seen how huge it is from the way mainstream news media reported it and how it went viral on the social media.
The next one is when Pep leaves Man City.
I’m not a fan of Liverpool or even the gaffer but he has elevated my home league and I appreciate him preventing the past years from being a City coronation tour. Good luck to him wherever he goes.
Now to hoping the Scousers select their favorite son Stevie G to replace him.
TXJ I’m sure you’ll agree he’s the heir incumbent on merit and sentiment lol

If Liverpool have any sense, get De Zerbi in, asap, like that chap who makes a racket on the microphone. Or Big Sam to steady the ship for a season.
Coach how much are laying down on Stevie G being the next coach and Mo Salah heading to Saudi next season

^Salah’s as good as gone. On second thoughts, De Zerbi sounds good on paper, but would imagine Liverpool will look for someone with an affiliation with the club.
