The worst kind of red is when your keeper gets it. I thought wow, Angola are in for it now and BOOM...football strikes again

How's the high foot not a YC?

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

I commend their passion even if not their football intelligence

I don't doubt it....we have been in the same HMS Minnow boat in the past. Baggio and Zola say hi. Anyway, lets hope we get the job done against the Lions today

40 odd minutes to play and already resorting to reckless long shots from impossible angles.

And Cape Verde.

I think one of the former Portugese colonies will qualify.

Angola now bringing on fresh legs to kill off the last 20 minutes of the game and rest some of their best ballers for the next round.

Always been a decent side. We've not had it easy against them in the past. If I remember points we dropped against them in Luanda in 89 contributed to our not qualifying for the 1990 WC and they also denied us WCQ in 2006.

Too many touches by Namibia in the final 3rd of Angola, giving Angola time to recover.
