Game going pretty much as I expected. I suspect that the longer this goes without Guinea going ahead, the more EG will grow in confidence

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

That was a beauty of a cross
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Guinea won it at the last minute. But Guinea isn't a good team, IMO. I don't expect them to get past the QF

Not sure what EG were trying to do. 1 man down and they seemed to be playing for extra time. It was obvious without change they won’t score if game went on for another 1 hr. Nsue did not hold up and couldn’t be bothered to even chase 50-50 balls. No attempt to stretch the game and pressure was on their defence which eventually cracked. I guess they didn’t have a fresh forward to replace Nsue or come in to do some running for him to feed off. Were they hoping to run out another 30 mins with 10 men? Wierd.
