Same for me. Liverpool’s energy has been wild this season, especially considering the rotation they’ve pulled off with younger players stepping up. Chelsea still looks shaky at the back and too inconsistent, and I’ve also not bought into Arsenal’s title talks. City just look too complete, and it’s hard to bet against them when they hit their rhythm like this.

If things keep going this way, I might try to catch a match live this season. Been browsing around for ways to get Premier League tickets safely without stress. Found some interesting options here: https://www.seatpin.com/premier-league-tickets. Might check again if prices drop closer to matchday.

European football leagues are struggling so far. The epl are about to get between 8 and 9 teams in europe next season. How can united v spurs be finalist in the Europa league . Both have almost 20 league losses so far. The other part is shitty Chelsea are in a mickey mouse cup final. I am getting board . Afcon was so exciting

Not too surprising. This was the first time that CL 3rd best teams did NOT drop down to Europa League. If they did, United/Spurs would have been knocked out tey tey.

Then you have your Chelsea competing against the likes of Djurgerden and Legia Warsaw.

One would hope that mid-tier competition would carry over to the European slot battle and looking at the numbers would support it. Especially when teams like Nottingham Forest are choking.

Unfortunately, the reality is different because most teams have nothing to play for anymore, which gives an advantage to their Euro-slot-battling opponents and ruins the competition.

It's also worth noting that in the past, teams like Man City and Arsenal would have had the squads to finish strong.

People are conflating excitement and drama for competitiveness.

I wont even say "luster" alone. The quality was completely below par. Very very poor. Tactics, strategy, creativity, everything was just poor. David Moyes even came back from obscurity to humiliate many of them. Thats how bad its been.

Go through from top to bottom. Let me even use Postecoglu as an example. Has only one tactic and goes completely devoid of ideas. Same for Pep who lost Rodri and completely froze. Same can be said of Nuno Espirito. And then you have the dvmb Arteta whose sole tactics is "set pieces."

Its no surprise that the champion of the season has scored a very low points tally.

Also, Yeye, why do Arsenal fans dislike Liverpool and their fans? One of them - Slicky D!cky - insulted you on their thread last week. And now, this one mocks your club:

That Palace and Newcastle won trophies is another indication of the league's increasing competitiveness. Ironically, it's the same people that pay scant attention to the details who criticised the league when Man City were doing clean sweeps; and here they are offering tired criticism now the spoils are being shared.

Watching City v. Bournemouth.

City has been structurally poor. Defensively, and their shape has just been porous. Yet, look at how easy they are destroying Bournemouth. Tactically, Bournemouth has been very bad and naive.

It says a lot that this sh1tty City is 3rd and if Arsenal loses game this weekend and City win, they could be tied for 2nd. Tells you all you need to know.
