Mbappe kept missing sitter upon sitter.

Down by 4.

Right now, Mbappe is not even the best player at Real, much less the best player in the world. This was an absolutely horrible game for him. How many sitters did he miss? How many offsides did he bumble into? This move to Real is not going as well as expected by any stretch.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Is he lacking fitness as some pundits said? Is he being played in an unfamiliar position? Is he too eager to outshine Vini, who is showing better dribbling skills and greater guile? I don't know.

Incredible. In the first half, Real looked like they were going to overrun Barca. Profligate finishing finished Real. They could have been up by 6 in the first half if Vini and Mbappe did not play like amateurs and squander chances anyhow.

Hansi Flick has done an incredible job turning Barca around. I can't explain how he's done it but he's definitely changed something to make the team much better.

Very true. He outcoached Ancelotti today. Also Lamine Yamal is the new Mbappe, and Raphinha is the new Vini. Mbappe is looking so one-dimensional, while Lamine is looking like he will be unstoppable in two or three years time.

New who??? Please dont insult His royal highness Prince Yamal like that. Dont compare him to that overrated 100m runner Mbappe. Shebi i told you Real should bench Bellingham and Mbappe earlier this season? You see now? Instead of giving Guler and Endrick more minutes and getting a real striker like Osimhen they got a a ninja turtle from Paris. Real will win 0 trophies this season      Anyway I'm happy to see Barca back to the top of European football where they belong.

See big otome (lie). Bullshit bret, you never said that, you said Guler would bench Bellingham this season--it has not happened. You never said anything about Mbappe. The season is still new, and Ancelotti is still figuring out how to use Mbappe and Vini together. When the team clicks, watch out! Don't change your prediction now oh.

The knives will be sharpening ready to carve Kilian into choice cuts for tapas. Is the weight of the white jersey buckling his back? Overshadowed in the Classico by Old Robert the Bruce. Accommodating Monsieur Grand Tete has seen a change in shape, roles and duties for many. Our Gentleman Jude case in point. If Mbappe’s not Bale, it’ll be another Gareth Baling.

Finding it hard to believe it's actually a tactic but what the stats say is that Barca this season have drawn 74 offsides. The next side in Europe is Brighton with 35.

It even looked like that kid Cubarsi always knew cos he kinda never bothered to chase Mbappe.

Barca looked like they rope-a-doped Real last night in the first half. So, when Real had thrown all their best punches and lapping like menopaused spaniels with both ears tiredly touching the ground, Barca unleashed. Rude Rudiger and militant Militao looked overrated against Lewandowski - how old is he again? I have a feeling some Real fans must have left Santiago Bernabeu this morning.

Yes and Mbappe does not seem to adpat quickly to his new position as center forward. He is too impatient and makes the run too quickly and is then cuaght too often offside

Throwing all the paella out of the pram. Real said to be boycotting the Balon D’Or in protest at Rodrigo Triple Ogbuefi’s crowning.

That's twice where Mbappe has had to watch Lamine steal the show - first at the Euros and now in El Clasico.

Btw, I'm not sold on Raphina - Nico Williams would be an upgrade.

If Rodrigo can win the Balon D'Or, why did N'Golo the Great never win it?
