Take nothing way from Slot's work thus far, he's been the epitome of opportunistic. The holes in the Swiss cheese have all lined up and he's been in position to exploit that.

Returning to Ruud Van, along with Ipswich and Soton, his Leicester have to be favourites for the drop. Playing out from the back with a team who couldn't play their way out of a womb at 10cm cervical dilatation, is ludicrous. Leicester offer no resistance and a bootleg version of the continental game. They need points not pointless passes. Granted Liverpool are not the barometer to assess one's self against, but Wolves wiped them and many others will follow suit. As ugly as it may be, they're deep in the dogfight and need to bite, claw, grapple and tear. Theres only one way out with such weaponry. Its not pretty, but pretty effective. Such aesthetics may be beyond Van Nistelrooy who looks well equipped to take them down.
Neda Sebo. Let’s not revise history. You seem to have forgotten how LCFC were conceding goals in Klopp’s last season? The whole team looked clueless. Teams exploited Alexander Arnold who became a liability and VVD was run ragged. Klopp didn’t seem to have a solution.
Even the Pharaoh got into it with Klopp at one point because he was frustrated with the losses and Klopp’s BS.
Slot got them playing defense and pressing properly, again. Just the right foundation the front guys needed to thrive. It helped that the injured came back.

I suspect, the team had stopped responding to Klopp. When that happens it’s either the players or the manager to hit to road. Klopp decided to walk. It was the best for all parties. :)

Klopp had run them into the ground. Much like his Dortmund side. The opportunism of Slot is in his exploiting the rapid decline of City, Chelsea's cowardice and Arsenal's failure to strengthen appropriately. The opposition are in a state of disarray, Slot is making haste whilst the sun shines. With regards to Salah, the workmate expected in the defensive phase and recovery is far less, hence the reason why TAA doesn't invert as much. The introduction of Diaz in a central role is a masterstroke. More often than not, their 4-2-4 pressing structure pins the opposition in and gives them ample bodies for chance creation after ball recovery. That being said, to down-play Klopp's contribution here is laughable. Much of Liverpool's acquisitions were with the heavy metal, pressing monster mentality in mind. Now give that a more measured approach and its easy to see how they'll appear fitter, more durable, more relentless than everyone else. They are.

Liverpool will take some beating. Returning to Ruud Van, they'll be beating comprehensively and one would wager, will be Hassenhuthled at some point, 7 or 8.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Absolutely. There’s only a few Generals capable of steering this ship clear of the rocks. Big Sam, Admiral S.Dyche and the Professional Professor of the Sciences. The latter is an impossibility, with Ancelotti stepping down in the summer, Madrid would be mad not to throw a glance at Anfonee “Haddaway” Pulis OBE, MBE, Caesar.

Of the two big’uns, either or. Dyche probably has his two piece in the car boot. Bring. Him. In.

Big Ruud Van burying the hatchet deep into the back. The Foxes could be gone by the end of the weekend.
