Club preparing to bank £150m as Arsenal, Liverpool & Man Utd eye wide-forward transfer
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs eyeing up a transfer deal for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo this summer.
The Cherries have had a fine season in the Premier League, and that inevitably means it looks like it’s going to be hard for them to keep their star names.
Semenyo is one of those, with the Independent reporting that Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are considering the Ghana international.
All three clubs want to add a wide-forward this summer, and Semenyo makes sense as a tempting option for them, and he should be available.
The report states that Bournemouth expect to sell three star names in the form of Semenyo, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez for a total of around £150m this summer.
Clubs can bounce on Bournemouth transfer stance
It seems Bournemouth are realistic about their chances of keeping someone like Semenyo, and that looks like good news for the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and United.
The 25-year-old has ten goals and four assists so far this season, and one imagines he could contribute even more in a better team.

At Arsenal, Semenyo could have a key role in helping Mikel Arteta add a bit more variety to his attack, and to take the pressure off Bukayo Saka.
Liverpool, meanwhile, could also benefit from more options in that area of the pitch as Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo haven’t been that consistent, while Diogo Jota has been injury-prone.
United also need a lot of work to improve their squad after a difficult season, and Semenyo could be a fine option to give them an upgrade on flops like Marcus Rashford and Antony in the wide-forward positions.
Bournemouth won’t want to lose three such important players, but one imagines there’s also a lot they could do with an extra £150m in the bank.

Troy's Premier League team of the week
Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth): I'm so impressesed every time I watch him. I played against him at Bristol City and didn't think he would be able to go on and do what he's doing in the Premier League, but he is going from strength to strength. Manchester United need to be looking at him - he is powerful and drives, that's what they need.

Semenyo: EPL's most balanced player
Semenyo’s two-footedness explains why he has admirers like Ruben Amorim
SOURCE: NY Times
Antoine Semenyo is one of the Premier League’s most balanced players.
He is capable of dribbling, passing and shooting with either foot, thanks to his parents, as he revealed in an interview with The Athletic in October.
It helps to explain why the 25-year-old forward is so admired by rival clubs and managers, including Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim. The sticking point for any suitor is that Semenyo signed a new contract last summer and Bournemouth are likely to want similar to the £65million ($87m) Spurs paid for Dominic Solanke last summer.
Amorim will be able to see Semenyo up close this weekend when United head to the south coast, and one of the standout skills he will need to set his team up to defend against is Semenyo’s ability. Few can rival the forward’s ability with either foot (55 per cent with his left foot and 45 per cent with his right, with four goals each).
The only players who beat him are team-mate Dango Ouattara (51 per cent shots with his left foot and 49 per cent with his right) and Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy (55 per cent and 45 per cent). But the two have attempted 109 combined shots, and five of Vardy’s six non-headed goals have come from his right boot.
Semenyo has taken a joint league-high 116 shots (level with Mohamed Salah), averaging 3.7 per 90 minutes, and mixed things up. His ability with both feet is invaluable in other ways, too, which explains the external interest he has received.
Here we look at what makes him such an accomplished Premier League player.
Bournemouth’s system under Andoni Iraola is defined by off-the-ball pressure and directness in possession. Dominic Solanke contributed to and benefited from both before he left for Tottenham Hotspur last summer for a club record fee.
Solanke’s replacement Evanilson (signed from Porto on a deal worth nearly £40million), Enes Unal and Ouattara have nominally replaced him at centre-forward but Semenyo, 25, has proven to be Solanke’s successor out of possession.
The Ghana international is excellent at anticipating the direction of passes, which enables him to intercept in key areas. A fine example came in Bournemouth’s 3-1 win against Southampton in September, shown below.
Centre-back Jan Bednarek wins a throw-in in their defensive third, which is played back to him. As Bednarek prepares to pass forward, Semenyo races towards the ball away from his line of vision.

Antoine Semenyo emerges as £50m Arsenal transfer target as Jorginho exit timeline revealed
The summer transfer window is up and running, and Arsenal are expected to do business as Mikel Arteta tries to strengthen his squad and bring home some silverware next season. The Gunners finished second in the Premier League for the third season in a row and reached the semi-final of the Champions League.
However, there is a hope that Arsenal can go one better in the top flight in 2025/26 and work has started on the Gunners' attempts to bolster their ranks for the new campaign. Arteta wants to add new faces as they bid to challenge for the title once again next term.
Semenyo targeted
GIVEMESPORT claims that Arsenal are targeting a move for Antoine Semenyo this summer, but are yet to make a formal approach for the Ghana international. Manchester United are also said to be keen on a move for the 25-year-old winger, who has impressed for Andoni Iroala's side this season.
Semenyo has scored 11 goals and notched five assists in 37 Premier League appearances for the Cherries this season and Bournemouth will reportedly ask for a fee in the region of £50million for his services.
Kieran King of FL says: "I think Semenyo is a talent and would improve Arsenal's squad, but I am not sure he is the answer at this moment in time. The Gunners might have a restricted transfer budget and only able to make a couple of big-money additions, and Semenyo isn't one I would make.
"First, Arsenal must splash the cash on a centre forward - that is for certain. Once that is done, the Gunners need to prioritise signing another attacking midfielder to help support Martin Odegaard. Then if they have money to spend, a recognised left winger would be preferred."

Tottenham have done most work on Antoine Semenyo but face big competition
Tottenham have stepped up their pursuit of Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, but they are not alone in the race, with several Premier League clubs now circling.
We reported earlier this week that Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their pursuit of Antoine Semenyo as they look to complete a move for the Bournemouth winger this summer.
It is said that Spurs have held significant interest in Semenyo for some months now and are now looking to secure the services of the wide forward who grabbed 11 goals and six assists in 37 Premier League games.
The winger’s versatility certainly adds to his appeal, as he is capable of playing on both the right and left of the attack, which would improve Spurs’ firepower ahead of next season.
