Yes we used all of the foreign legion against Brazil but it was tactical errors that caused the imbalance not personel. A few of these industrial hustlers are simply out of their depths out there.

Well this is where Manu earns his pay. If he comes back out with these same set of 11 players, that would be a disappointment. The long ball is not working and Bulbwa and Savior have been anonymous.

Enaholo has been good. Mustapha def needs some cover at LB as the germans predictably were always going to attack his wing after seeing him struggle against Brazil. We are still in it at 1-0 but if we concede one more we are done.

Germany did there assignment and attacked the LB from the get go. We eventually succumbed to their pressure. I can only see us scoring via set piece as their back line is solid and reads the game well. There's still hope for us!

The Germans are not giving our boys any space and time on the ball, plus our off the ball movement has been poor..so they are making lots of unforced errors. On the flip side. We are giving them too much space.

The painful thing is, our coaches will wait till 70-75 minutes before they make change. That's why I like Mou, he'll change you before half time if necessary. Not afraid to own up to a mistake and change things.

We need min. two changes at halftime (well... actually we should make 3-4 changes...) - Ifeanyi needs to be taken off and someone that really can hold the midfield brought on (Matthew? Nwakali?) and we need some creativity on the wings.

We're lucky that we're still in this. Time to reassert ourselves.

The funny thing about how europeans play,they cannot sustain the tempo..if you survive the early blitz, then there is hope. They can only sustain that blitz for about 60mins ,usually the harm is done in those minutes. The secret is to limit the harm,if you can then hit them hard in the last 20 they are usually gassed by then.

They will be gassed,the north africans have the same philosophy...the first 30 minuted if you experience those blitz,it will look as if you are clueless,it will look as if your lungs is about to explode and you start wondering how am i going to survive this....then when you are thinking the second half would be the same....the game just peters out. If you cannot contain the early blitz you can be down by 4 goals easily.
