KPOM I remember as some used the excuse that he was starting for France ahead of Sagna at that time.Chief Ogbunigwe wrote:I asked you guys the wisdom of paying good money for him and letting Sagna go for free, and una tell me say I no sabi book.tolahs wrote:How much longer do we have to endure the rantings of this failed drag queen de-butch(backside). where we called out Bendtner for clowning, we've indulged his extreme delusions. Injuries happen in pro-sports sometimes altering careers but to continually lash out at our club & the gaffer in an obvious attempt to precipitate a transfer when executed in this manner screams desperate & amateur.
His refusal to doff his hat in Hector's direction speaks to the lack of real competitor in the geezer - he belatedly came around - but very yuk.
At this point while AW is right to set the record straight on ManU's non-interest(sure affects Dabutch's fantasist narrative) - we should cut loose - pay him above the value of his contract if need be. Some losses can be healthy.
If this dude went on Catylin Jenner mode next week - you get the impression the Tabloids will pay him to go away - you can see his own fam totally ignoring 'her' with yawns. That cookie don called time on crumbling.
Home office issues notwithstanding - we passed up Serge Aurier for this.
Sagna can even play CD but We let him go for free and pay how much again for this cry baby?Well did not some fans complain we don't need Fabregas how he will slow the growth of some youth and we have better players than him?Which am yet to see.Imagine Fabregas putting those balls to Sanchez and king of one touch while Ozil drag defenders with his body booom goal.

Agent Aidy Ward - same geezer who ruined Berahino's career. He's more a deal killer than maker. Liverpool are stuck with Sturridge & his injury record - no way they rolling with Ox, given his injury record.Waffiman wrote:When I saw that rubbish, I could not contain myself with laughter. Why? Jurgen Klopp denies Liverpool interest in Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
'I don't usually say anything about transfer rumours but I can make an exception. Nonsense,' he said.
'This kind of thing I think a lot about but I say nothing because it is really not interesting what I think about this.
'You (the media) are already on a path so do with it what you want but from our side nothing else to say about it.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The original rumour has Ox's agent fingerprints all over it - 2 weeks ago it was Manc & Pep. The agent is desperately looking for killer wage rise totally discarding relevant evidence like injury record & weak form.
Props to Klopp!!!
I know football is reeked with hypocrisy, so I will not be surprised if clubs who show no interest now, change their minds later.
I also know Arsenal's Chairman openly criticised the Agent and the way he conducted his business with regards to Liverpool. I also know, the Agent is rumoured to have made some unrealistic demands and Arsenal are not impressed. The fact is, I will not be surprised if Oxlade is sold this window.
I also know so far, none of the top clubs in England have expressed an interest in the player, even Chelski who once coveted the player has not taken the bait from his Agent who has offered his services to all of them.
For me, it is now a case of watch this space with regards to this player. Payet has been open about his admiration for Arsenal in France. Rumours of Arsenal's interest will not go away. If there are any truths to these Payet stories, then Iwobi's 1st team place is threatened. It also means, there is no place for Oxlade at Arsenal.
They say Sanchez has an offer of £400,000 per week from China and he is very interested, if this is true, I say goodbye Mr Sanchez, it was good while it lasted.
Is Ox's dad, an ex-player okay with this circus show?
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

1. Waffi told us Aurier was not Arsenal quality
2. Arsenal's offer to Sagna did not meet his demands. Some Economists here schooled me on how the difference between our offer and what he asked for was more expensive to Arsenal than buying and paying Debuchy.
By the way, remember that Sagna publicly denied the comments Wenger made about him being tapped up. Wenger is a great man, but he at times can be prone to pettiness.

No! Arsenal met his demands eventually. He got everything he wanted. But of course, City upped their offer and he went to them as a free agent. The fact that he had City waiting for him when he was a free Agent confirms Wenger was right about him being tapped up.
Wenger knew City was in for Sagna, these things are no secret to people like Wenger. He only made it public when he got fed up of Sagna's games.
Funny thing is we did not know he was doing us a favour. His leaving opened the way for Bellerin.
On Aurier, I said he was a good going forward but suspect defensively, I took the view that this will be a problem in our league initially. I added, I'd chose Debuchy because he was proven EPL quality. When the talk came about him being cover, I made it clear he would not sign and Arsenal will not sign him as cover.

There was nothing petty about AW's call on this one. Remember I was that fan on this forum & elsewhere arguing that Sagna could be converted to a DM - i used the way Pep deployed Philip Lahm as example. His exact demands were met in time & he got messy with his replies(to not signing) - many gooners wanted him to stay. His denial was a nonsense cos no one turns down a contract offer that meets their demands w/o a backup option.Chief Ogbunigwe wrote:tolahs wrote:You 2 have forgotten the facts so soon after the dance, it's scary. I am praying you and some of us should be wrong but truth be told Wenger is not a good coach to put us where we want to be win league again and compete in CL.This is his last season of he can not do that he should respect him self go for director of football and allow coaching for someone else.theYemster wrote:Another W for these punks from across town. Looking at how Kloop has set his team up - ball pressure - shutting out David Silva, De Br,Sterling & Aguerro for most of the 1st half plus seeing how ManC GK treats high ball - we dropped the ball over there. Offensive players doing that job of chasing the ball when out of possession.

2. yes, it would have still been cheaper than buying Debuchy and paying him whatever we paid him.
3. 3 years ago, Arsenal was in no position to pay a RB £130k/week. Heck, we currently have 2 players earning more than that (Ozil and Sanchez).
4. The problem wasn't about matching what ManCity offered Sagna, it was the potential ripple effect on the salaries at other positions. At the time first squad players were earning between £60 - £90k/week

Wenger gave this City and Pep 3 free points,i mean a very poor City we allow them to big 3 points from us.
If we had win that game City today would have been now on same point with yeye Manu.
Tomorrow is a must win to move to third above this City team.We must not stay any further behind Chelsea .Hopefully Spurs will take something against them in midweek.

My people should we look during this transfer window to add some qualities or brng someone to help Wenger on the touch line?

With respect, you're seriously conflating issues on this one - & in so doing you end up with probabilities based on shaky foundations.amafolas wrote:1. Arsenal could have come within the ballpark of what ManCity was offering and Sagna most probably would have stayed.Chief Ogbunigwe wrote:tolahs wrote:You 2 have forgotten the facts so soon after the dance, it's scary. Sagna's financial demands were met by Arsenal - he kept stringing us along cos he'd been tapped up by Mancity.kajifu wrote:KPOM I remember as some used the excuse that he was starting for France ahead of Sagna at that time.Chief Ogbunigwe wrote:I asked you guys the wisdom of paying good money for him and letting Sagna go for free, and una tell me say I no sabi book.tolahs wrote:How much longer do we have to endure the rantings of this failed drag queen de-butch(backside). where we called out Bendtner for clowning, we've indulged his extreme delusions.
Arsene openly said while Sagna was still with us that we better ask Bacary why he hadn't signed - the dude left - turned down a 3yr offer from us.
Debuchy was great when he joined - seamless in his integration into the team - we knew nothing about Hector - i for one thought we should sign Aurier for team depth - Debuchy has regressed after every injury to the point in my opinion not being good enough for the EPL
I remember things differently.
2. yes, it would have still been cheaper than buying Debuchy and paying him whatever we paid him.
3. 3 years ago, Arsenal was in no position to pay a RB £130k/week. Heck, we currently have 2 players earning more than that (Ozil and Sanchez).
4. The problem wasn't about matching what ManCity offered Sagna, it was the potential ripple effect on the salaries at other positions. At the time first squad players were earning between £60 - £90k/week
At the time talks for a new contract commenced, Manc weren't in the picture - Sagna's reps put their demands forward to Arsenal - it went back & forth until Arsenal met all the conditions. Sagna wouldn't sign - it wasn't Jan(when he could speak to other parties).
Sagna wasn't given a reason for not signing the contract - a huge section of the fanbase were loudly demanding he got a new contract.
What became obvious was that all along he'd a standing offer from ManC - he didn't at anytime inform Arsenal of this cos it wasn't legal.
So the shoulda, coulda etc is an unfair callout of Arsenal - they met the terms of a contract as demanded

Jack Wilshere has looked amazing in the last 2 or 3 games for bournemouth.

Arsenal needs Arturo Vidal. That's all I can say. We should NOT let this guy to to Chelsea.
