Great Coach in the Making.. ABS
Henry Makinwa since his appointment as the Kwara United coach has taken the team back to the premier league and has started well. A UEFA licensed Coach who humbly went back home from Portugal to prove his mettle. Special shout out to him.

Kwara United is not ABS. They share a home city. Henry Makinwa is ABS coach.valachi wrote:Henry Makinwa since his appointment as the Kwara United coach has taken the team back to the premier league and has started well. PS: If ABS somehow scores 6 goals in a match, would it be "dry" to caption the news story "6-pack ABS"?

Makinwa is now coaching? I saw him play for Samson Siasia's under 17 team a few years ago. Hmmm..

Are you sure? This dude never played for our Under anything. At 39 is he not old enough to coach?Ogolo wrote:Makinwa is now coaching? I saw him play for Samson Siasia's under 17 team a few years ago. Hmmm..

The announcement that the 28-year-old has replaced Huub Stevens, and become the Bundesliga's youngest-ever coach in the process, had even the most well-informed football fans asking 'Julian who?' bundesliga.com provides some of the answers...

Re: Great Coach in the Making.. ABS
He did not played under anything at all, I know him very well.
After playing for three teams in his homeland, Makinwa moved abroad at the age of 19, his first stop being Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish second division. In the following transfer window, without having appeared officially for the club, he signed for F.C. Penafiel in Portugal, in the same level.
Makinwa (known in Portugal as Maki) spent the following four-and-a-half seasons in the country, mostly for Vitória de Setúbal. In the 2000–01 campaign he scored a career-best – in Europe – eight goals in 28 games, as the Sadinos returned to the Primeira Liga immediately after being relegated;[1] in late February 2003, he left S.C. Farense and switched to Romania with FC Rapid Bucureşti.
