Leicester City Look to Offload Striking Flop to Rivals West Brom Following Iheanacho Capture
Leicester City are contemplating selling Ahmed Musa to Premier League rivals West Brom after securing the signing of Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City, according to a report from the Leicester Mercury.
The signing of Iheanacho means that the Foxes have six strikers currently on their books as the young Nigerian joins Jamie Vardy, Islam Slimani, Shinji Okazaki, Leonardo Ulloa as well as Musa as attacking options.
Although Musa joined Leicester City for £17m from CSKA Moscow last summer, it is very probable that he will be the striker to make way after an underwhelming first season in England.
The Baggies are believed to be interested in Musa, after missing out on Iheanacho themselves. It is reported that they want to sign him initially on loan but want to include the option to buy at the end of the season.
It is looking increasingly likely that Musa will make way as he has been subject to interest from numerous European clubs throughout pre-season and has only played three times since Shakespeare took charge, all as a substitute.
One European club rumoured to be interested in Musa is Turkish side Fenerbahce, but it is believed that the Nigerian is desperate to continue his career in the Premier League.
"The interest from Turkey is very strong but he wants to remain in England," said Musa's agent Tony Harris earlier this summer.
"He could get his wish because some clubs have contacted us about him. West Brom and Brighton are among the clubs to have sounded him out over a potential move.
"A decision will be made over his next destination. But leaving England is out of it."

Re: Leicester Look to Offload Musa to Rivals West Brom
Musa should jump at the chance to go to west. He's a good player that had issues last yr but has had a very good preseason.
OCCUPY NFF!!
Re: Leicester Look to Offload Musa to Rivals West Brom
True on the preseason but that doesn't mean anything to the coach who prefers Albrighton and Gray. Albrighton at least works hard but Gray is a poor excuse of a winger. Selfish, can't score and can't beat his man either. It truly pays to be young and English.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Musa should jump at the chance to go to west. ^Gray wants out if not afforded more game time. As for his talent, t'is without question, his challenge is consistency.
Re: Leicester Look to Offload Musa to Rivals West Brom
All english players tout talent, they all lay claim to being talented...but the more ypu watch most of them play the more rubbish they become! Gray is what ypu call a flash on the pan. If he is as talented as claimed he would have staked a claim...the likes of Lampard, Gerald, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole, Owen, Rooney were the exceptions and we know what they were doing at the age these so called talented ones were whinning about being denied playing time on a team like Leicester.Coach wrote:^Gray wants out if not afforded more game time. Think Leicester will keep him till the last day in case they lose Mahrez. If Mahrez stays, they'll sell him or arrange a loan.

one down, two to go
Nwabali -- Aina, Bassey, TroostEkong, Sanusi --- Chukwueze, Aribo, Ndidi, Iwobi --- Osimhem, Sadiq Umar

So far only Roma have shown interest.niyi wrote:Think Leicester will keep him till the last day in case they lose Mahrez. If Mahrez stays, they'll sell him or arrange a loan.
Anyway, if he stays I believe a strike force of Mahrez, Vardy and Kelechi will be a handful for any team.

I have a vision of Iheanacho scoring a goal, and then Nacho, Musa and Ndidi unveil green, white and green undershirts respectively.
but alas it seems that dream will be of the pipe variety, as Musa is likely surplus to requirements, and even if he remains in the club, he is likely to polish the bench with his derriere.
Unless the two starters hurry over to the bench to complete the choreography.

Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

West Brom? Oh no! He should study the antecedents of West Brom on the likes of Odemwengie and Berahino. Tony Pulis will make him suffer and deny him the lucky early exit/escape of Brown Idehen.

Get a life imbecile! Sad loser! It shows you lead a sad sorry life; when you constantly take delight in disparaging human beings who work hard to eke a living! Sad nitwit!

There is something not right in the training they get, having watched old naija and brazilian players you can tell they are not talented, Gray is good but he needs to go to spain to get to the next level.oloye wrote:All english players tout talent, they all lay claim to being talented...but the more ypu watch most of them play the more rubbish they become! Just read about a guy who had to send his son to Spain, they tried pidgeon hole the guy as a winger, in spain Athletico turned him into a No 10. He is now back in UK. When the boy was younger He did a "no look" pass at the age of 9 the coach had a go at him to stop show boating his father told him not to listen to the coach, the boy became confused and didnt want to play anymore until his father took him to Spain.
This country is not a serious place for a kid to learn football, They dont let them enjoy it.

The problem is with their coaches who put on straight jackets on the kids thus snuffing out everything called creativity. They are wowed and swoon all over foreign players such as Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Ronaldinho etc....but they would snuff out same from the kids under their ward.Prince wrote:There is something not right in the training they get, having watched old naija and brazilian players you can tell they are not talented, Gray is good but he needs to go to spain to get to the next level.oloye wrote:All english players tout talent, they all lay claim to being talented...but the more ypu watch most of them play the more rubbish they become! I don't think Demarai Gray's problem is creativity or dribbling. His decision making is just bad

Re: Leicester Look to Offload Musa to Rivals West Brom
Musa needs to leave Leicester ASAP and go to a club that suits his strengths. He would thrive playing alongside a strong forward that holds up the ball well allowing him to run into space, or may even do well as a lone forward. Because his final ball is often poor, he's not a good option on the wings which is primarily here he's played at Leicester. He and Vardy have very similar styles of play and do not complement each other.
