This is typically how u and ur likes create justifications for bad leadership and corruption in Nigeria.
You have offered no context, just justification much as u have done in the past for age cheats!
This is a new invitee and not someone on a provisional list. And if it took me a few minutes to find out he was injured on the 17th, why would u be here playing defence for Egu and NFF?
You found out about his injury today. How about the possibility the NFf had this list ready about a week or more ago? How about the possibility that Olise was injured after the list was made and sent to CAF? I hope you realize that several countries had sent list to CAF? Are you certain Nigeria was not one of those and Ndah was included before his injury? Do you think you can change the list wily nily? Are you sure of the extent of Ndah's injury? Those are questions to ponder just for starters. BTW there could be more injuries on the way, if they are as clairvoyant as you seem to believe,, maybe they should act on some others that could be injured in the coming days before the AFCON commences. Hopefully you will not blame Egu or NFF?
First off, who told you that I found out about the injury today?
FYI this is not a subject I particularly have an interest in. I just got sick of the kinda stale justifications you people offer...
The idea that they didn't know of the injury is even worse, based on when they released the list.
Which could suggest that what is important is just making the list...
All you have to do is read this thread and you'll see where I corrected my initial comment.
And I never said he was 'injured a month ago. This is ur usual pattern of deliberately mistating my comments.
Read my initial comments and the correction.
I'm aware he was injured on the day of the game. Not cus i was watching the game but just mere curiosity and coincidence..
Just by the way, what is the prognosis? What did the medical state? Is ge out for how long? Thos way you can inform the NFF.
Don't take yourself or any of us here too seriously. None of us gets better informed about medical info about these players than the NFF.

The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

I corrected my initial comment. And did same on the response by Damunk, precisely because of the red highlight. in several other threads.
He has a knee injury and is still being included in the squad.
Focus on that for a moment...

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Stop being hypocritical. Uzoho came from nowhere to become the World Cup goalie and this after conceding like a ton of goals in the lead-up friendlies. Mind you, he didn’t even play in the qualifiers. What exactly was so special about Uzoho when he was called uptxj wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 9:53 pmEnugu II wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 9:49 pmBut Txj, it is my point. The standards are simply defined as players that the Manager considers good enough to represent the country. It is that simply. Just as Gernot Rohr saw it okay to invite a semi-pro player to the NT and it showed that he saw something special in Okoye and Nigeria benefitted, so also should other coaches be allowed to make the bed that they will lie on. If the team fails based on the decision of the Manager., that Manager should be promptly canned. That is deterrent enough to keep the Manager above board. It is that simple.txj wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 9:16 pm
That's really not the point, unless u have difficulty understanding the concept of standards...
We have ALWAYS invited players from Nigerian and African leagues to the SE...
But that's not the standard in question here. And as is ur MO u cite the totally unrelated issue of Okoye, in attempt to quash debate on a potential malfeasance.
We have a player make a direct leap into the tournament squad who is not special and most importantly who is carrying an injury..
When is it the standard to take an injured non-special player in a position where the team is not short of options?
Cheers.

You are the one talking about a player making a “direct leap into the tournament squad who is not special“ but you did not complain about the one who made a direct leap into a World Cup tournament. Re: Olisa Ndah's RECORDS.....
Of course you didn’t speak about Uzoho because it would have exposed the horrible lie that you’re concocting about Eguavoen, accusing him of malfeasance when you were quite OK with Rohr drafting in Uzoho under the same circumstances. I am not as “clueless” as you think because I can see right through your transparent bigotry. First its nice of you to concede that I never spoke about Uzoho, that u were indeed clueless in ur accusation, as u often are...
Second, I never accused Egu of malfeasance.
3rd, I don't know anybody who raised issue with the inclusion of Uzoho in the world cup squad. We were short on GKs.
So I ask again, why are u perennially clueless on issue after issue on CE?
Do you need help?
