Good chance for Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) as he latched on to a cross on the edge of the box and blasted the ball towards the net! It flew wide of the left post.Scipio Africanus wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 8:28 pm That would have been a SPECTACULAR goal by Schlupp!

How come 9ja has not claimed him yet?Scipio Africanus wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 8:27 pm This game has turned into the Micheal Olise show!!! Involved in the first CP goal and has now scored a beaut of a FK!
Is it true that he is on 9ja's AFCON standby squad?
They had better cap him quick before France, Algeria or England swoop in for him.

What a move by Crystal palace! What a move!
An eight pass move results in Gallagher smashing the ball in from close range for Palace. 1-0 to Vieira's men!!!

The Crystal Palace sabotage squad struck again. Own goal in the last minutes of the game to snatch a draw(again!) from the jaws of victory.

In all the AFCON excitement, we forgot that big Pat collected another beating from Liverpool. That one went under my radar.

Palace actually played very very well against Liverpool, and that penalty just deflated them, otherwise Palace was looking very likely to make the score 2-2 and by all means a draw would have been fair.Scipio Africanus wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 11:30 pm In all the AFCON excitement, we forgot that big Pat collected another beating from Liverpool. I think uncle Pat has done a good job so far and just needs to start getting crucial wins here and there

Palace have turned too many winning positions into draws but like you I believe the wins will eventually start coming. I hope he is given enough time to build a team in his own image. Obviously he is one of the top coaches in the EPL already.benteke wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 12:47 amPalace actually played very very well against Liverpool, and that penalty just deflated them, otherwise Palace was looking very likely to make the score 2-2 and by all means a draw would have been fair.Scipio Africanus wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 11:30 pm In all the AFCON excitement, we forgot that big Pat collected another beating from Liverpool. ...Watford is stacked with SE players.
They manage to get top flight, they quickly get back down.
We are not there yet.

How many member of the SE's 23 man list are in Watford. I'd hope that your use of the word "stacked," means that you know what you are talking about.

Am missing any. 4 that may line up vs Ghana, and if we make it will be going to the world cup.
