Value of African sides

Post by marutimon »

Just checked the net worth of African sides.

1. Senegal 336 mln (13 globally)
2. [Ivory Coast 320 mln (16)]
3. [Nigeria 269 mln (22)]
4. Morocco 218 mln (25)
5. [Mali 188 mln (30)]
6. [Algeria 164 mln (31)]
7. [Egypt 152 mln (32)]
8. Cameroon 127 mln (36)
9. Ghana 113 mln (38)
10. [Guinea 103 mln (42)]
11. [DRCongo 95 mln (46)]
12. [Burkina Faso 74 mln (53)]
13. Tunisia 62 mln (58)

Of course it doesn't guarantee anything but Senegal obviously one of the strongest African sides personnelwise in World Cup history.

They have one of the best goalies in the world (if not the best) in Edouard Mendy, one of the best defenders in the world in Kalidou Koulibaly, several great DMs and the force that is Sadio Mane.

Hoping Senegal make it far and counting on a decent group for them.

With all of Senegal’s talent, they seem to play lackluster, boring football. They never dominate their opponents. Hoping it all comes together at the World Cup.

Not this EPL and Euro centric ish again!
Value here is what a club is willing to pay or how good the player agents are.

Think about it. How valuable is Aubameyang? How much is he paid?

What you have posted here are numbers showing which teams have players with the best agents.
You are trying, but you really should lose the "masa" colomentality,

I mean, it does give you a good indication of which countries have the best players

Agreed. They play too many 1-1, 0-0 & 2-1 games. I’m not a fan of the midfield of Kouyate, Gana, mendy, and the two Pape (Sarr & Gueye). That’s 5 defensive midfielders.

Their games are very boring. Very little guile in the team
