Don't start Azpi. He may lose his head yet again and gift easy goals.

What’s an army without its captain? Give to Cesar that which is Cesar’s. Azpilicueta must start. The big decision for Tommy the Tactic Engine is even bigger Romulus Remus Lukaku. Shorn of form, bereft of technicality but bulging at the seams with big and black, abundant are the ingredients for a tub thumping throwback to the days of Duke Didier Drogbus, praefectus of the highest order.

Wide-right, inverted forward, pinned on Aberdeen Andy, wide target man, headers, volleys, arms and elbows. Raggy-dolled Marcelo a few seasons back clad in Belgium rouge, more than capable of mangling Andy…if he’s up for it.

Road runner,Timo Paul D**kov Werner to Forrest Gump the attacking intent of Alexander-Arnold. Big Kai in the middle, mixing and blending like DJ EZ with a case full of 12 inch old school garage classics. On the ones and twos.

What about Mount? Exactly. Mason. Free at that.

Should be a decent scrap, big fifty-fifties and punches aplenty. Carbon neutral? Nonsense. Burn baby burn, octane and ozone. Powder keg? Yes, please with sourdough and Dijon mustard. Bish, bash and more bosh than Maourane Fellani up top for the last 5 minutes. Avsumma’ daaaat!!!!

Jota is also bad business for Chelsea.

Hope Salah will be fine.

Mendy should’ve led with the knee for the headed clearance. Could’ve taken Mane out of the equation like a double negative. No card. Evidently didn’t graduate from the Lehman School of Business Handling.

Pulisic should be selfish there.

Letting Trent get too central. Could have a pop from range.

He should have gotten 2 assists if Lukaku and Pulisic finished the chances given them. Mason has been good in this game. Of course the opponent is Liverpool. They are keeping Chelsea on their toes.

Chelsea need to calm the back passes, Mendy isn’t Ederson, ball at feet. Can find Lukaku on the long’un quick and easy. Route one.

Only way I can find to describe this game is that like neither team seems to want it badly enough. That and a time in the season when all feet are just tired.

Tommy needs to get Timo on. Far too lethargic. What on Earth has happened to Romelus.

It pains me to have to admit that Liverpool rely on Salah than they do Mane

Salah does more in terms of buildup play. Liverpool have been flat since he went off
