Re: Italy vs Argentina
I agree Argentina are playing well, but Italy is making them look good. Slow defense and toothless Italian attack, as usual.

This is a very good Argentina team. Has been in the making for about 3yrs now...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Re: Italy vs Argentina
Argentina cannot handle pace and power. They'll probably struggle against pedestrian Poland in their 1st round group. No worries, we'll see in a few months ...

Argentina is a small team. They won't make it far in Qatar.

Re: Italy vs Argentina
So did the 2010 Argentina team, until they jammed Germany who spanked them 4-0 in the quarter finals. Like I said, we will see in a few months …bret- hart wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 2:12 amDude this Argentina team look like favorites. Re: Italy vs Argentina
Well Germany has always given Argentina hell so no suprises there but aside from them and their enemies Brazil i dont see any team beating them in Qatar. It seems their current coach has figured out how to get the best out of Messi. Dude actually looks happier playing for Argentina than he is playing for club. I fancy them in Qatar.Scipio Africanus wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 5:09 amSo did the 2010 Argentina team, until they jammed Germany who spanked them 4-0 in the quarter finals.
