Sometimes that’s what’s needed to get the players come back with a clear head.

Chelsea will be OK but this season is a write off . The will finish in the third tier competition at best.
Hopefully they finish 10 at best and never ever finish in top 4 again

Chelsea’s transfer debt has increased over the past few years to £147m in 2021, but this was still a fair bit lower than other elite clubs, e.g. Arsenal owed £188m as of June 2022, while Manchester United’s payables surged to a Premier League record of £307m in Q1 2022/23.

The biggest downgrade in managerial history,

If we took away the points Tuchel garnered before he was sacked, Chelsea would be on 21 points all season. Who knows if Porter were in charge for those games under Tuchel, things really could even be worse.

Chelsea would be fighting relegation.

All the money that Boehly and co have spent is coming to naught just by hiring the worst possible coach for the project.

the fake excuses were , trust the process, he needs more time , players are injured.. he has been coach since september .. they are now saying he needs a pre-season.. BHA has become a much better team since he left. Hopefully the next two games will expose he cluelessness

In all three seasons with Brighton in EPL they finished with negative goal difference. Even in 2015-2016 season Chelsea finished with a GD of +6. Hope Potter's Chelsea doesn't break that record too. Embarrassing!

Highly ambitious club. Not a place for unintelligent pops. The sacking of Tuchel was unfortunate. Obviously a mistake by the hierarchy. Although one could say he had it coming, pulling the plug was hasty. And if you were going to, at least find a replacement which is equal or of higher repute.

Porter doesn't remember that at the early stage of Arteta's Arsenal reign, he beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup. He cannot compare himself to Arteta.
