Thats why the Ten Hag makes millions to coach and you dont.

...the down fall of that club since sir Alex left was players' bigmanism.
From Sanchez coming from Arsenal to Pogba from just winning the world cup to Maguire as captain to Morinho unorthodox scata scata as a coach, then Ronaldo.
None of the coaches that came along could exude discipline on the players instead playing favorites.
ten Hag change it, a no nonsense approach.
Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season
Mcal - Man Utd’s troubles during the past decade are a direct consequence of their lack of succession planning 10 years ago when SAF retired.
I posted about the utter madness of what they did 5 years ago (see below).

wiseone wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:19 pm The Neviller is partially right. If Moyes had been allowed to spend the 500 million odd that LVG and Jose spent, would he have done any worse than their 4th, 5th, and 2nd place finishes?
Man Utd are still paying for their bungled succession planning for Ferguson. The lack of good succession planning at a club as big as Man Utd is simply mind boggling. Ferguson was over 70 yo when he retired. He first tried to retire as far back as 2000. You would think that the club would have regarded his retirement as a realistic possibility for a long time and would have been planning for it.
Instead they allowed the entire leadership hierarchy and coaching team to walk out with Ferguson. It was utter madness to let the successful CEO David Gill leave at the same time as Ferguson - and Scholes. Followed by Vida, Rio, Evra, and Rafa the next year. You'd think that a billion dollar business would have the good sense not to replace their manager, CEO, coaching team, captain, vice-captain, former captain, and entire back 4 in the space of 12 months.
That is the equivalent of Apple or Coca-Cola replacing their CEO, chairman, CFO, CTO, board of directors, and entire finance department in the same year.
benteke wrote: Gary is starting to bite, but he doesn't want to bite directly, Ferguson and his friends made the biggest mistake by hiring Moyes against all common wisdom.
And as much as Woodward now takes the blame for signings, but there is still a board at United that i am not sure who it consists of and how it works when it comes to these decisions about signings
Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season
I want to say all the good things about Ten Hag and United but I am afraid to jinx my team. So far so good. I am watching United with joy again.

Mr Ten Hag's first trophy and many more to come right up to the UCL big ears.

Manager and players. Even the attitude is different.

Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season
A bittersweet day for Martin Dubravka. He plays for the losing team in a cup final, but will still get a winner’s medal (for a team he does not play for).

Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season
Phil Jones appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Carabao Cup final is portentous. Either his career at Man Utd is over or his career is over - period. This may be him lining up a new post-football career.
Ironic that Jones appeared alongside Neville. Scarily, Jones joined Man Utd in the same year that Neville retired (12 years ago). Jones and and De Gea are Man Utd’s longest serving players and the only members of the current squad who played under Ferguson.

When you want to win, you bring in winners and cut out the cancer from the team! Arteta did it and Ten Hag did it. Look at two of them now. Yet, fans insulted both of them

Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season
The way Man City just colonized this trophy in the past 10 years... it's been keenly contested for years

If so, not a bad deal for him.wiseone wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 4:37 am Phil Jones appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Carabao Cup final is portentous. Yes, but not on the back of a six-year trophy drought...

Win a cup final, adlnd and get that winning mentality going, so that you can pivot for bigger ones.
I tell you know Spurs fans and players would have loved lifting this cup last time they were in the final
