SE squad for Guinea Bissau(not out yet)

Post by vancity eagle »

According to Owngoal.

25 players called up.

3 goalkeepers
8 defenders
6 midfielders
4 wingers
4 strikers

If true I am glad there are 6 proper midfielders, no more of that 3 or 4 rubbish. I hope Nacho is not listed as a midfielder.

Also apparently Peseiro tried to call up Balogun and had a talk with him, but he rejected for now.

He also talked to Caleb Okoli to get him to switch, he has got Lookman working him as well.

The squad will be released next week.

Yeah I saw the report as well and that was about the most encouraging trajectory I've seen a SE manager take, 6 midfielders for a start is a positive start.

Folarin Balogun has turned us down. The useless boy said it’s too early for him to choose Nigeria.

Pesseiro is in Italy hoping to convince Okoli to play for Nigeria.

Caleb Okoli will be a good addition to our team, Folarin will be surplus to requirement...we have the likes of Victor boniface who is tearing it up at the Europa league yet can't make the NT starting 11.

If we get Caleb Okoli, we will have a decent defense.

This is not a good time to be up and coming Nigerian striker hoping to play for SE. Boniface go wait taya with all the names ahead of him, Folarin is surplus but his cHances of getting capped by England soon are very good. Osihmen will not allow a lot of strikers to put on that SE jersey, he could own that position for another 8yrs. Imagine how many strikers won’t get capped in the Osihmen era.

See our strikers list.
