CPS Drops Charges Against Mason Greenwood
Re: CPS Drops Charges Against Mason Greenwood
Brave from Getafe, even braver from their Chairman who was amongst the first to swing at Rubiales. Better than any soap opera on the box. Will the signing of Greenwood be dragged into El Kiss-gate?
For what it’s worth, Getafe getting a Premier League CF for no fee and meagre salary contributions. From a purely footballing perspective, makes sense, from an everything else POV, “popcorn please, Fanta lemon, colder than the MOP classic”.

Re: CPS Drops Charges Against Mason Greenwood
It is excellent business for Getafe. In the open market they would have to pay over 50 million and over 100K a week for Greenwood. They are instead getting one of the best young players in the world nearly for free.
Here is a conundrum: if Greenwood scores a hatful of goals for Getafe, will they push to make the signing permanent? Or will other clubs come knocking on United’s door?

Really? Do detail the words that imply disappointment. Excitement at the unfolding soap opera is anything but disappointment. Couldn’t care less for Ike…Mason Greenwood but very intrigued at how this plays into the thriller that is Surviving Rubiales.

What is in the water at Manchester United?
Re: CPS Drops Charges Against Mason Greenwood
Very rare for a loan signing to be given a massive unveiling like this (as if he is a club record 100 million signing).
Getafe fans seem happy to have him at their club.

Re: CPS Drops Charges Against Mason Greenwood
A signing is a signing. There were fans celebrating passenger arrivals at a local airport, a satirical jab at their lack on transfer marketing. Ike Turnerism aside, Greenwood is/was one of English football’s next gens. In a summer that saw Kane to Munich, Bellingham to Madrid, signing Mason “smack my b*tch up” Greenwood is a coup…Getafe is a straight line from Africa after all.

I wish their family no ill, he made certain mistakes that will stick by him forever but he deserves the opportunity to show the world he's made amends to her and himself. However the reality is that bigger clubs can will decide that - at least for now - the negative attention isn't worth the player. Getafe on the other hand isn't getting players like this, at best for them is usually some Castilla player that Madrid wants to "park" locally.danfo driver wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 2:46 pmCry harder! greenwood will scatter La Liga and return to Man Utd next year. There is a reason United did not cancel his contract. The loaned him out.

He won't play for United this season (AT LEAST) you can take that to the bank.Bigpokey24 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 2:20 am the other funny part of the loan is , they added he can be recalled in January. dude is a baller and they know this . More details on the loan:
-Greenwood’s dad, Greenwood’s fiancée Harriett Robson, their 3 month old baby, and representatives from Manchester United accompanied him to Getafe to attend the unveiling
-Getafe plan to keep Greenwood for the entire season
-There is no buy clause in the loan deal (which means “where will Greenwood play next” wahala will start again next year)
