Very little positional awareness or discipline in Cameroon CM.
Commentator keeps droning on about their pressing instead of their positioning...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

The cameroonian wingers are doing nothing. Either too slow or making headless chicken decisions.

Exactly what came to my mind. I'm glad Naija is different.
Of course it would mean they support Nkrumah’s call for African unity

This is a half to forget for Cameroon, they are relying on luck at this point :D Senegal are quite comfortable.

Playground football. Executing an energy sapping press having folded the trousers asymmetrically. Pleats all over the place. Senegal look comprehensively better in every which way.

Senegal should just take Cameruin out of this misery.

I agree. You don’t win games by passing the ball around in your own half at walking pace. The score will get worse for Cameroun.

What I’ve noticed the most in this tournament is how poor the deliveries are into the box from wide areas.
They are mostly under or over hit.

They were really deliberate in doing their homework. I remember when they used to bring nothing but strikers to tournaments l. They’ll win their first game then get bounced out from the group stage

Nice insight.
CAM is playing better but their delivery into the box has been pathetic.
The lads of Senegal are so crisp and clean and their purpose is always so clear.
Well drilled and coached but CAM is still in the game.

Mendy has had some questionable moments in this game.

Anguissa is a weird player. Just cruising playing the ball from side to side, what exactly does he offer?
