why the yellow card? not like it was intentional.
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

I tell you! They all forecasted Morocco will win the trophy. Let's see what they will say if South Africa beats Morocco

But that's disgraceful from Morocco...
Very disgraceful! They have been a disgrace throughout this tournament, including their coach allegedly making racist comments and yet, CAF is afraid of them. That is why I wanted them out today. But alas, you should never put your hopes on a small team like SA.

Well deserved miss. Thugs.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

They used to be but I think things are slowly changing. Didn’t they beat or draw us at home to deny us AFCON qualification during that Keshi era?
We beat them at the 2019 AFCON which was the last time we met...but they are more competitive now especially in defence.
They beat us 2-0 in Uyo in 2017 and drew with us away in 2018. Before that, we owned them.

Nigeria's defense is better than the South Africa I am watching. Not even close.

Morocco had a lot of point blank chances, they just didn't latch onto them.
