Yes we lived dangerously the entire game as you would expect.

But the approach got us 4 first class chances.

That's how you assess a game irrespective of who the manager is.

The Spaniards had over a dozen (arguably 26) chances in the SAME game, that’s how I assessed the game and the coach!

The USA is currently beating Germany 3-1. We have a long way to go. Emma Hayes the US coach makes $1.6M a year. She is allowed to select her assistants and no interference on players selection, and her team consistently play friendly games.

The forwards let us down with their finishing and we allowed Spain a little bit more freedom on the ball but the girls try sha. The days of the Falcons losing 4-1 and 7-1 are long gone. We need to convert these slim losses and draws to wins.

I wonder when folks are going to understand that performance at this level isn't just about coach and assistants, it's about the entire eco system from selection to training to having a top league. The international coach is just icing on the cake.

The player that scored against us today has won the female Ballon d'oir twice, league MVP and Spain didn't even need her to win the WC. She barely played due to injury. Some of you are sounding like England fans that ya'll so despise. I don't have a deficit mindset but I'm also a realist. Had David from the bible missed with his sling shot, Goliath would've mauled him to death. We shot our two slingshot, but unfortunately we missed them both.

You're very funny, is there any game not played under pressure? This is top end competitions played by teams under pressure to qualify. So if a team can't execute under pressure how did you then get to the Olympics.

If you watched the Falcons at the WC, you will understand the mindset. They are content with qualification, not conceding any goals and keeping the defence compact and organized. If possible score one goal from a counter-attack, that would be wonderful, not if, at least we didn't concede or only lost by 1 goal to world class players, former or current world champions etc.

At the end of the day, we played against world class players and teams and we only conceded 1 goal.
