Vunicius Jr offered $1b by Saudi
https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/13/sport/vi ... index.html
Should he take the offer or stay at RM?
I say heyeeelll YES! Take it yesterday. He already won the CL and laliga a couple times. No real benefit to stay at RM other than for his Brazil spot but Brazil ain't about to win nattin anyway.
Takebit and run.

Saudi is his best option. In 5yrs the Saudi league will be stronger, they’ll host a WC and have even more of the best players in the world. Saudi league is probably at about 25% of its potential compared to laliga or Epl. Saudi needs to find a way to capture more viewers in Africa and Asia where most of the world’s population resides. Perhaps they could host the Afro Asian cup as a new major tournament that’ll get a lot of attention. The top 10 teams in Africa and Asia will be drawn in groups of 4 for a $200m prize. You think African teams will not be down for that? Hell yes!

Sounds like this addresses that as well.According to Reuters and ESPN, the deal also includes a separate 10-year contract to be an ambassador ahead of the 2034 World Cup, which is set to be held in Saudi Arabia.
My broke #$% would jump all over this deal before they finish their sentence, but I doubt he will take it at age 24 in his prime.
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Vinicius should ignore the offer, and continue enjoying the racial slurs
offered by opposing fans in La Liga.

Is Mbappe a snowflake?

Now they are talking. They need to offer a bit more. If Vini Jr. stays at Madrid with Mbappe et. al. The Saudis will come back with a better offer because his stock will probably go way up.metalalloy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 3:09 pmSounds like this addresses that as well.According to Reuters and ESPN, the deal also includes a separate 10-year contract to be an ambassador ahead of the 2034 World Cup, which is set to be held in Saudi Arabia.

No self-respecting player will leave the current R. Madrid to go play in Saudi at 24. There are some things money cannot buy. The experience of playing with Mbappe and the current R.M team, under Ancelloti, is one of them.
There is also the small matter of living in Saudi at 24. It's a huge sacrifice.

Football players are entertainers , and their prime earning years are very short. Equating maximizing their earning potential to prostitution is the reasoning of a pie in the sky snowflake
