Nothing surprising in the list, this is more or less our world cup list... perhaps one of the home based players will be dropped in the final list and Gabriel Okechukwu (unless he impresses in the forthcoming friendly games looks the odd man out).

Very happy for the guy, praying that it all keeps to plan and seems like we may have an alternative to John Obi Mikel if needed or for game management.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Yuuuge congrats to Joel Obi. The coast is clear young man.

Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
No surprises in here at all, however I see Vancity having a problem with Junior Ajayi and Gabriel Okechukwu, to be honest I would have preferred for Awoniyi to be given a shot in place of Okechukwu.
Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
Akpeyi is living on borrowed time... He is lucky we have no stand out goal keeper right now and has experience working in his favor for now, I believe he will be dropped before the world cup proper if the likes of Enyeama make a much needed return to good form.Bigpokey24 wrote:Same Normal players..Akpeyi still dey chei

Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
Mikel Agu dropped and Ideye’s poor showing not enough to earn a call up same applies to Ujah ,no room for Victor from Wolfsburg this World Cup would be too soon.Thank God agents failed in their attempt to smuggle in Ajagun, Reuben, Kelechi , Brezee Okoye etc etc etc
Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
Agents strong o. They still manage squeeze in Stephen Eze, Joel Obi, Junior Ajayi, and Gabriel Okechukwu!

Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
Awoniyi will yet get his chance, his form right now is good and all he has to do is keep it going, there is no oversight in giving the home based boys a chance, it's a win/win situation.ikemba_nacho wrote:No surprises in here at all, however I see Vancity having a problem with Junior Ajayi and Gabriel Okechukwu, to be honest I would have preferred for Awoniyi to be given a shot in place of Okechukwu.

Re: Rohr invites Mikel, Onazi, Moses, 25 others for Poland,
Good list.
Nice to see Joel Obi back.
Gabriel okechukwu, Eze and Ajayi merited their call ups.
Rohr is a true German. Straightforward and doesn't look at agents.
All dem Enyeama and co agents will have to pay back to their clients.

Which of your clients would you have replaced Akpeyi with? Or did you want Rohr to manufacture a goalkeeper? This is the beauty of National teams. You have the players you have and you play with them.

Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Obongs client didn't make it. Maybe the two friendlies will show we need him.

Weird that Uche Agbo is always invited but never plays, abi he’s good training material? But surprised Agu who came out of nowhere to seemingly earn Rohrs trust is not given a chance.

Uche agbo is a bit of a head scratcher for me though, would have loved to see Azubuike Okechukwu selected but I guess that's a far reaching hope at these point... also seems Mikel Agu isn't very much in the picture any more, except he is injured.
