Egyptian left back needs to be flogged publicly in Tarir square.

Caused the 1st goal

Then caused his player to be red carded

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Egypt started slowly but were getting into the match when the LB was caught in possession and a quick Japanese counter led to the GK and CD colliding with the loose ball falling to Nagachi to shoot into an empty net

A long period of egyptian domination then followed but with few openings as Japan played numbers behind within zones.

Egyptian LB is then caught again in possession and a quick thru ball sees the Egyptian right CD foul and deny a goal scoring opportunity as last man in defence. Red card and Egypt is down to 10 men.

Japan then get on top with two telling breaks...

Problem is Japan is very well organized and have the ability to use thei man advantage to open the egyptian defence.

IMO they need to go to a 3-man defence to have a fighting chance in midfield.

Right now they are a sitting duck...

I hear you on the Japanese organization. Really makes it tough even 11 vs 11. Their women play the same way too. After watching the first 25 mins of the women vs brazil I told my boy brazil women will be lucky to smell the net. At least in this game Egypt is good in possession/ build up even with a man down. Small hope dey.

I think Egypt need to pioritize where they defend, with a man down.

Focus on being tight centrally and give up chasing the Japs on the flanks...
