Black Brazil X1

Post by tendai101 »

Saw a clip of the Brazilian national team in training on Eurosport and was struck by the very few numbers of white players there. the coaches were overwhelmingly white but almost every player was black or a shade of it. The only person who really stood out as being truely non black was Kaka (in the clip i watched). With that in mind how come Brazil is loved by everyone white people included even the racists in England when we know they hate t give black people the credit they deserve footie wise? How can they seperate their disdain for African teams and reconcile that with the adoration of Brazil who are our cousins? Robinho is darker than a lot of Zimbabweans yet Europeans love him

So is it skin colour or origin at play here???

There's also abject racism in Brazil that you wouldn't believe. If they chose to field many white players, they have no chance of winning anything. The black Brazilian players are more gifted and very athletic.

By the way, when will Spain field a black player? Has that ever happened? Just wondering!!

Well

It is true. The Black player gives a special something to Brazil that a country like Argentina can never have. Indeed, I have read commentary to the like from English journalists.

Also, Brazil is universally loved across ethnicity. The type of football they play is sheer joy, art, and winning caliber...cutting across ethnic barriers. Pele, Jairzinho, Junior, and the like are beloved everywhere.

Anyways, Brazil are an amalgamation of everything...Black, White, and Mestizo. Hence, don't look to far, as another similar football power is emerging...The United States of America.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Mudi...By the Way
If they chose to field many white players, they have no chance of winning anything.
Come on, is this not a foolish statement. Lilly white teams have won the WC on numerous occasions. Hell, a pale-white Denmark beat your all-Black Nigeria 4 - 1 in WC 98.

Also, don't be surprised if Germany wins WC 2006.

The bottom line is that football talent comes from all races. There is no racial determinism, ala Brazil needing to be all-Black to win. Other than Brazil...who produces great players of all colors...you never know who will come up with outstanding footballers.

Finally, can you imagine if I, as a white man, made your type of comment in the reverse about, say, Germany or England. It would be called racism...and rightfully so.

thanks "mate" for replying so promptly.i mean this is totally uncalled for. going by this guy's logic, african countries would have won the world cup every four years. football aint related at all to skin colour...but rather to organization, infrastructures and so forth which most european countries got. i believe greece might not have as much talent as nigeria but the organization is there hence we saw the results. even Brazil we are speeking about are 10 000 times more organized than any african country. take brazil's 11 and play them as benin and trust me u wont get the same results. lets stop all this racist remarks!!very uncalled for

Either you dont undertand english or there is something wrong with you. What has organisation have to do with it. All i asked was why is Brazil that is predominantly black footballwise is loved by whites as opposed to an African team even when they are playing good football ala Camerron 1990, Nigeria 1998? Kongi the emir , what complex have i got???

The gist of what i am saying is that i would expect racists to hate an African black team and a Brazilian national team (predominantly black) in equal measure but that aint so. Maybe some of you are too dumb to follow the logic.

u probably don't watch real madrid games...they made monkey noises when ever roberto carlos was on the ball in a game against deportivo la coruna.

of course racists are hypocritical...we know that...since even coruna captain is none other than mauro silva...and he doesn't look much different from roberto carlos in looks.

it has already happened. It started in 1991 when the idea of staging the world cup there was hatched.......The USA will rule soccer one day, and very soon. ALl they need to do is groom a few Brazil-born Americans and boom.....they are there....

tendai i now understand what you ment... am not dumb as you claim, maybe i misunderstood your post because of the replies i saw. anyways evrything being equal what you are saying here isnt different from what happened in spain...ie: spanish supporters throwing abuse at Wright Phillips but sparing the likes of ferdinand, cole etc...as people pointed before most of the brazilian players are mixed and thats maybe one of the reasons. another reason is probably the fact that brazil remains brazil. by that i mean that brazil as a football nation and its athletes have achieved every thing that one might think about. every body looks up to them. when you've reached such a standart its hard for ignorant fools to be racist because they know very well that you are above them and the facts are there to prove it.
