Who is number 20?
Do you understand the basics of football?

The guy who scored was a LEFT BACK.

Who marks the leftback ?

Right wing, which is the homebased guy. Even the commentators were going off about it.
You are an insincere fella with an agenda.

They are showing the replay over and over and over again...

Who was marking the dude?

Who is wearing jersey number 20?

I hate watching games with people who have an agenda... :veryangry:
Are u seriously this dumb ?

It doesn't matter if Awaziem was next to him, it was Faisals man to mark and he was nowhere to be found.
Awaziem at RB is not responsible for their LB, that is the right wingers (Faisal) job.

Like I said the commentators were going on about his inexperience for like 5 minutes. It was FAISALS fault.

He's responsible for defending the far post in a corner kick in a zonal setup, which is what we are doing.
Both him and Faisal were ball watching.

The guy who scored is Faisals man to mark. You are now using zonal excuse.

They are BOTH at fault, and we're both ball watching.

We were not man marking on the setpiece. That is squarely on Awaziem...

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. Y'all are looking at the wrong things in judging this team, even if we're up 2-0 it means nothing. Pay attention to the in game improvements, adjustments, tempo, tactics and how the players are responding to instructions.

A goal doesn't have to be somebody's fault. Often times the offense is just better than the defense. At this stage post DNQ we will chop goals. If you're looking to point fingers there'll no players left.

Two changes to start. Hopefully we can get a draw.

He scored a fk goal for Nantes. I still don't think he's good at it.

l think it was a lack of communication from the entire defense, it was a set piece and defense was supposed to communicate and watch the free men for runners instead there was nobody watching the back post and the attacker exploited the hole, Uzoho, Faizal and Awaziem were just admiring the flight of the ball but we move
Admiring? Hmm, okaaaaay!

No.
He switched to a 4-4-2 and ditched the initial diamond, bringing Iwobi and Aribo closer in CM and pushed Faisal to the right

Now he's ditched him entirely

Yep. But believe it may have been scheduled. Faisal had a good showing.

To me, it should have been a foul against the Ecuadorian player, not a corner kick

Honestly, if Nigeria can take advantage of and defend it's set pieces, we will win most of our games

Focus should be on performance here not the score.

There's got to be a local player on the team that can give you the same crap Simon is giving right now.

The issue of SET PIECE has been our weakness for a long time, I am surprised it still exists
