Exciting times ahead for Man U and the EPL.

...bad players, good manager.
Or bad manager, good players.
na which be which? Which wan is better to have successful club?
This club has gone thru many good managers and players since Ferguson left, so na wetin be the issue?
I will/may equate this situation to Nigeria football with good/bad players, good/bad coaches, or the ogas at the top wey never change.

Since Ferguson retired United has tried every type of managerial/coaching appointment:

1) trophy 🏆 laden managers who have won the Champions League and league titles in multiple countries (Van Gaal and Mourinho)

2) Retired United players/club legends who know the club (Solskjaer, Van Nisteelrooy, Griggs, plus Mike Phelan, Phil Neville, and Nicky Butt on the coaching staff)

3) Managers with prior Premier League experience

4) Up and coming managers with potential (Ten Hag and Amorim).

Amorim is a TBD. None of the others restored the club to former glories.

I remember wondering back then why United signed 30yo Van Persie rather than the younger Lewandowski. This explains it.

Very, very interesting lineup from Reuben Amorinwachukwu. Eriksen and Casemiro centre-mid, Mazroui right-centre. Amad RWB. Gentleman Johnny Evans to go blow for blow with truest of Vikings, Big Liam Rorison Delap. Rashford dead-centre. This. Could. Be. Interesting. 6 or more goals? Or settle at 5+? Goal from a free-kick, long odds.

RA is new let's give him time to sort out his players but Ruud could have won this game for us.

Shaw is injured - again. He got the latest injury while recovering from a prior injury which has kept him out of the United team for the past 11 months.

Amo-, nothing else. Ruben will get it right or rather, get the players needed to effect his ideas. The United squad at present is a pick’n mix of identities and style misfits. It will take a fair few games before ideals are embedded. Till then, there will be floggings. Myriad, whether he’s Amokachi or Amunike.
