Last stand of Postecoglu? If it is, he went out of his sword.

And in another thread, lambasting Trev shot putting a banana towards Adebayor. Is this any less racially motivated? What drives a man to go from thread to thread, ringing the bell like the 18th century town crier, to bother the unbothered with another man’s looks?

If not mistaken, most watch the sport for reasons beyond the middle-aged secretary’s Diet Coke break. There’s a point where the repetitive nature of an action breaches the realms of rhyme and reason and enters the disturbia of unhealthy obsession.

Saka is a footballer not a Milanese catwalk model. His job is to play the game, which he does with aplomb. Whether he would or wouldn’t win a beauty pageant is irrelevant, he goes home to a young woman with enough aesthetics for the both of them.

Many squeezed bands of gold on to the fat fingers of Shreks from Surulere and hefty Nkerus, despite being more Dorian Gray than Dorian Gray.

Not entirely sure how enquiring about the “true” nature of a “man’s” obsession with any man’s facial aesthetics leads to lacrimation, but heyho, in the age of the idi*t the emoji is top trump. One can only wonder how a signifanct other would interpret her/his partner’s preoccupation with Saka’s facial features. Hopefully the attention afforded them is much the same.

Now to the football, surprised Postecoglu didn’t use the similar setup deployed vs City. Liverpool’s false forwards were afforded far too much freedom. Central numerical advantage seized too easily. Thoughts IAG and co?

^Harsh. Sunderland with Big Niall flicking it on to Super Kevin Phillips were a force for all comers.

There is stoicism and there’s stubbornness, Ange’s insistence upon a high line and wide openness was a turkey dinner on Xmas day. It could’ve have been more obliging. Liverpool are not the all conquering invincibles the season (thus far) is showing them to be. They are open to the counter and can be caught short out wide. The lack of pace at the back is another avenue for exploitation.

The tactical approach of AP was bonkers, given the strengths of the opposition and their areas of weakness. Was surprised he didn’t try the same ploy used against City, boxed midfield with wide forwards and a compact defence thrown in for good measure. With so many key players out injured, playing suicide football with Spence and Gray at the back was bonkers. The scoreline could’ve been worse.

2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

REST IN PEACE COACH STEPHEN KESHI!!! REST IN PEACE COACH AMODU SHAIBU!!!
