If he is still brainless and over-rates himself, it will be the same story. I opened this thread many years ago, because it was very apparent who he was and his limitations. But he was able to use his friends in the media to make himself look like a top level player.

United is abysmal on the pitch and abysmal at negotiating transfer deals.

The purchase option in Rashford's loan to Villa is only 40 million. Meanwhile the same Villa just sold their unproven 21yo reserve striker Jhon Duran for 70 million this same week. Spurs paid Bournemouth 60 million for Solanke.

So how TF have United managed to value their most high profile player, who is in the prime of his career, who has played 60 times for England, and who has played in the World Cup, European Championships final, Champions League, 2 Europa League finals, 2 FA Cup finals, and won the League Cup, at 30 million less than Villa's reserve striker?

United will also pay 25% of Rashford's salary while he plays for Villa AND Villa will not pay United a loan fee. Paying an employee to work for a rival is a very strange business model.
