Liverpool's unbeaten run has come to an end but - barring a remarkable collapse - they will end the season as Premier League champions.

Defeat at Fulham was the Reds' first in 26 league games and just their second of the campaign.

But with seven games remaining, Arne Slot's side require a maximum of 11 points more to secure the title.

     next season is going to be funny. If they know whats good for them, do NOT give him a contract extension. Simple as that!

The funniest thing is that if this wasnt a Liverpool player, TxJ would have seen it. He is smart enough to catch these things early, but when it comes to Liverpool players, he is too lenient and gives them more time.

Trying too hard….to fit “analysis” to a preconceived narrative.

All players decline eventually. You typically see it in a consistent pattern of performance, not cherry picked performance, where the average is highlighted and the good ones routinely followed by crickets…

LFC knows how to handle ageing players. Ironically enough, when they did it with Mane you cried racism

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Do you still think VvD should be given a contract extension?

2 leagues in 5 years.

Think before you post. One of your tweets contains an image of a ref who was banned for making derogatory comments about Liverpool.

Truly sad. Another tainted title. A little above average performance, but no viable competition because the leagu is quite weak. Yet, PMGOL has to help to push over the line.

Absolutely!

This PSG will take something to be beat...

But so too was Barca

Like I have always said, Liverpool is a regional club. Players usually go there as a stepping stone, hoping to move to one of the top International clubs. Even Stevie Gerrard wanted to leave to a bigger international club in Chelsea, but he was burned in effigy. Fernando Torres did the same thing. After performing, he used them as a stepping stone to go to a bigger international club. Even Suarez, he did the same. Used them as a stepping stone and wanted to go to Arsenal and then ended at Barca.

We can also mention Xabi, Michael Owen and now Trent. These 3 players used the regional club as a stepping stone.

If you look at the players that go to Liverpool, they are bought from tiny clubs like Southhampton and Hull City.

It is very important to understand football and the hierarchy. Unfortunately, very few of us are well versed in football, others? not so much. . .

As you can see, the two retirees remained, while the only viable young one who has a future is leaving. This is one characteristic of a regional club. No player in his prime will agree to remain there.

Like I said, there is a reason his nickname was "Stevie-Me." He is roundly and generally hated by most people. The only important thing he did in his career was when he wanted to join Chelsea and cried because they wouldnt let him. He really wanted to experience playing for an international level club. He did all he could to make it happen.

Why do you think the best player in your club's history try to force a move to Chelsea and only remained because he was burned in effigy and his family threatned?

Why do you think the 2nd best player in your club's history force a move to Chelsea?

Thanks :D
