RIP Uriah Rennie - 1st black EPL ref gone
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/arti ... mr7xlmkxyo
A true trail blazer is gone. Unbelievable that a guy as fit as he was ended up succumbing to a rare disease and Cancer. He was bold, fair and fearless. A lot of us saw him as the only black referee in the Epl for years. Is there another one?
RIP to Mr Rennie. A true pioneer in sports and a shinning example for the Afro l- Caribbean people. We will miss him.

RIP. Legend
Re: RIP Uriah Rennie - 1st black EPL ref gone
The only ref ever to stand up to Manure in spite of the pressure. I remember someone switching off the stadium lights during his debut. One last desperate protest against the 1st black referee. RIP
