This is not how I would play it but I envisage that this is how Eguavoen will play. If Aghahowa is not fully fit, I believe he will play Osaze Odemigwe instead.
which Okocha again? Una no dey hia word

If the emphasis is on attack, why not go with the same 3-3-4 Angola had the audacity and arrogance to use against us? Of course not, for that would be too bold a step for of Eagle impersonators. We dont deserve to be there, and we wont!!!!

...It took how long to get rid of that, too fat for the circus Clown Chukwu, and by then his handy work had been done to its uncompensatable best. Way back when we were toasting bronze at the ANC, i was saying, if trends continue we wont make it to Munich. I was questioning Chukwu's competency as well as his ability to lift that jacket potato of a belly off the bench and give influential advice to his beleaguered players. And even then i was told, bronze is the new gold, Chukwu will come good, Super Eagles Super Eagles, Super Eagles, tell me, whats so super about being dethroned in your own backyard, and then told you cant play with the big boys?

if we play all these attack-minded player with no defence we might conceed goals. I think since we don't have Utaka and since Okocha is coming back, we should play 3 midfielders in Seyi, Obodo and Ayinla. Obi can come in for Okocha after the game is almost over. Okocha is an AM and we should use him as such, we don't need Oruma, Okocha and Osaze starting the same game, all these 3 players play in the same position, they are attacking midfielders.

Internet coaching is whack man. We are talking of a must-win World Cup qualifier and some funny people think this is the right time to start experimenting and gambling.

Okocha should be made to play as AM strickly behind the 2 strikers. I beleive that Egu will play a 4-3-1-2 formation.

---Martins-----------Makinwa--------------

--------------Okocha-------------------------

-----Obodo---------Seyi--------Ayinla-----

Taiwo-----Yobo--------Joe E.-------Ordia

-------------Enyeama------------------------

Jag and Kanu will be used as a sper sub.
This is how I see Nigeria lining up v Zimbabwe although I can also envision Oruma playing for either Olofinjana or Ayinla.

Frankly I think Nigeria plays better without Okocha but he'll play unless he's injured, that is a given.

hmmmm.....it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this one....

---------------------Martins------Julius--------------------------

----------------------------Okocha---------------------------------

------------Ayinla---------Olofinjana--------------Obodo--------

---------Taiwo------------JoeE-----Yobo----------Ordiah--------

-----------------------------Vincanity--------------------------------

This is almost exact how it is going to be.

Mikel Obi (phenom, heir apparent, his royal greatness) will see some action. Same goes for Kanu (game changer, super sub, Papi). The last sub spot will depend on the flow of the game, Okocha's health or how Taiwo is doing on defense. So that leaves us with either Oruma (he will not start if Okocha does....so expect bench duties) or Lawal (the sure thing and stabilizer).

If you cannot figure this then I am sorry - this is not fantacy footie.; Egu wants to win this one bad and there is no room for gambling. The only that can change this format is injuries or late arrival. None of those new guys will see action - this is not Ludo.

Are Julius Aghahowa and Austin Okocha fully fit? I think it will be too much of a gamble to play both of them.

All of that is subjective conjecture.

What I just did is pick the team like I "expect" Egu to pick it two weeks from today.

Now if I am picking my "own" eleven, I know who I will start and how I will format it. If Okocha is in Abuja and can walk, he will start. Of course I am not in support of that mentality but that is reality. Same goes for Julius. Man pass man.

Let us see. There is still two weeks to go, so anything can happen between now and then.

I can see Oruma "wepting" again if he doesn't start the game. How Egu and co go do am now?
