With multinationals waiting with bated breath to pull out, the issue was much bigger than the “normal for now” that it was in the eyes of the dot com. The posts by his girlfriend are what damned him, Anthony had accusation too but they were able to keep him on the team. What people also don't seem to have noticed is that somebody from the club leaked their plans to reintegrate him to the media in order to stop the club from going forward with it.

Sorry, it’s hard to conceive Ferguson endorsing the forfeiture of hundreds of millions in commercial revenue to retain a “smack my b*tch up” 18 year old with a petulant girlfriend. Hardly. AWB (a more defensive and conservative RB) would not have left that space vacant.
